At the time, newly fashionable gems found in the mines of Brazil, these foiled Topazes are a delicate shade of pink next to the greeny yellow tint of the Chrysoberyl. Circa 1830's, this budding floral pendant would most likely have been a part of a larger jewel, she suits our more pared down modern aesthetic but still adds a unique air when worn. Hand chased in 15ct gold, the details are nicely preserved. The decorative 'Garnet Gold' (tests as slightly less than 9ct) chain measures at 16 inches, the pendant 3cm from the top of the bale, 12mm wide.
